Technical Manipulation and Efficiency

What was in Place
Valid Approach
Campaign was too broken out to target various geography (a good strategy, but incorrectly implemented).
Consolidated campaigns to include disparate geographies in a singular campaign to increase spending power and maximize efficiency for the given scale.
Campaigns were structured to run 300+ broad match keywords in a single ad group with close to no negative keywords.
Split keywords into themed ad groups to cater ads to search terms, added negatives, and implemented other best practices including testing bid strategies to max out profit margins.
